Some people feel that
young people face more pressure today than the equivalent age groups did in
previous generations. Others think they have a much easier life than their
parents did. What is your opinion?
Answer:
I believe that there are some reasons
why the youth of the previous generations did lots experience much more
pressure than the today’s generation of young men, because of several awareness
economic, social and professional issue they had met.
The economic condition
was the main problem in many families in the past, in particularly developing
country like Indonesia, it was not the same remain stable as today’ families. As
such, young people in the past did not efficiently have the physical,
educational, professional and recreational needs. For example, a huge number of
families were not possible to afford their young children attending school or
higher studies. In contrast, it is not hard for children now to acquire greater
education because modern families have better financial economics. Hence, today’s
youth experince lower level of stress than young generation in the past.
Moreover, youth,
nowadays, have greater chances to move from one to another job in professional
fields. In Indonesia’s government, for example, there have been provided numerous
job opportunities for the educated youth compared to young generation several
decades ago, where they were deal with pressure owing to getting lack of
seeking a job. Although modern generations have enjoyed their economic freedom
which help to stay more comfortable and relaxed lives, many of them experience
a wide range of stress at work because of office targets, demanding deadlines
and long working hours.
In conclusion, it
cannot be denied that young generation nowadays have an easier life and less
level of stress because of supported by financial families rather than in young
in the past.
